Anybody who doesn't trust their dog grabs hold of them as we approach, either because they're worried about them fighting or I'll run off with theirs.
Of course there is a downside. Mine is more likely to trip me up than anyone elses and it's time consuming stopping to pick up her mess (I'm a good boy) although my Garmin stops when I do so it's not such a problem.Iainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06615967331057164887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842967695982826605.post-2252442426335274862009-01-25T17:29:00.000+00:002009-01-25T17:29:00.000+00:00Well Done,Great fun wasn't it :-)Well Done,

Great fun wasn't it :-)Iainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06615967331057164887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842967695982826605.post-56739321836685496572009-01-19T14:20:00.000+00:002009-01-19T14:20:00.000+00:00I hate running against the wind, it makes any run ...I hate running against the wind, it makes any run that much harder. Having to spend 30-40 hrs a week driving I find that I get through loads of them. The quality varies greatly as does the content and the release dates of them.
Some are very factual, some are just people going out for a run and chatting while they do. There's probably something for most tastes.
They're 'almost' all just amateurs like us who want to put something back and share their runs so you'll find that sound quality and intellectual content may not match you're Radio 4 stuff. Being a bit of a thicko that may be why I like them so much though ;)
What's the next race on the horizon? I haven't had cause to use the new re-vamped site yet so can't comment on the changes.

I'm afraid that there isn't a straightforward road with footpaths that goes to the beach. If you don't mind a few simple trails though it's easy. I can run looped runs of up to 3hours from home and see no more than 200m of road.

Pop down to the local running club (Tennis Centre 7pm Tuesdays) and speak to Tim about Athens Marathon. He's got a pad out there and has done it several times over the last 5-6 years.
